The trailer of movie “Blade of the Immortal” (Directed by Takuji Miike) starring popular group ‘SMAP”s Takuya Kimura, was released on November 11.
In the trailer, besides the scene in which head of the swordman group Anotsu Kagehisa (by Sota Fukushi), master swordswoman Otonotachibana Makie (by Erika Toda) stood up against the herion character Rin (by Hana Sugisaki) and main character Manji (by Kimura), a part of the climax scene when Kimura challenged with “Slashing 300 people” was also revealed.
“Blade of the Immortal” is a popular manga published on comic magazine “Monthly Afternoon” (Kodansha) from December 1993 to September 2012 by Hiroaki Samura, with a complete 30 volumes and the total number of issued copies exceeded 7.5 million.
