Promotional video of “Legend of the Galactic Heroes: Die Neue These” – a new anime project adapted from the famous science fiction novels “Legend of the Galactic Heroes” written by Yoshiki Tanaka was released. The first season consiting of 12 episodes will be broacasted from April to June 2018, the second one “Legend of the Galactic Heroes: Die Neue These” including 3 chapters, 12 episodes will be aired in 2019.
“Legend of the Galactic Heroes” is a work that depicts the rise and fall of Galactic Empire and focuses on the confrontation between Reinhardt, a “Genius Champion” of Glactic Empire and Yang Wenley, an “Undefeated Mage” of Free Planets Alliance.
It has been animated since 1988 , in which 110 episodes, 52 spinoffs and 3 movies have been produced.
